Good Deal???
Hey all,
I was wondering if this was a good deal my friend offered me.
It's 4 pairs of batteries for sale; 6 Traxxas 3000mah 7 cell packs and 2 Duratrax 4200 7 cell packs for $100.
They have had about 10 cycles on them and have been used for bashing but no wet driving.
I would be using them for my E-maxx 3905.
What do you think?
Robert

RE: Good Deal???
As long as he lets you see that they all charge to their full capacity,or at least close to it, I think its a good deal. But I also agree with Madman, see if he'll go $80.Those Traxxas 3000 MaH 7 cells, however, seem to be notorious for not charging all the way. I've had 3 that only charged to 1500-2000 and my friend had 2 thatonly charged to 1000-1500. All were fairly new.I've had great luck with the Duratrax Onyx batteries, though. As much as I hate their cars, they make great batteries.

I'll keep you all informed.
Thanks for the help.

RE: Good Deal???
If the batteries are in good condition it's a good deal. But if they're not, you could be wasting a lot of money.
I'm weary of used batteries in general unless I know for SURE that the previous owner knew how to use, store, and maintain them really well.
