I recently bought a rc monster truck at my local swap meet and wanted to identify it but had no luck. the body is not original but it has Team VTX logos on it. I tried to go on their site but some other stuff comes up. The engine doesnt appear to stock also. Here are some pics.

I'm not at all sure what it is, and you're right, the pics aren't great. It looks heavily modified though, lots of aluminum upgrades on it. Try to get some better pics.

Take the truck into your backyard in the sunlight and snap a couple of photos. The extra light will help the exposure on the tiny Ipod sensor and significantly reduce the color noise.

Either its a HSP/Hispeed Tornado, REDCAT Avalanche, WINDHOBBY Salamander, AMAX Boomwheel, EXCEED Titan, OR HIMOTO HI6201 Rancho (all the same exact truck just different colored parts )

it looks like it also shares most its parts with the redcat hurricane(what I thought it was originally) so you could easily make it a 1/8th scale buggy
