i voted against.................................
read on....................
the car is awsome! the body is a work of art.
the scale is sweet.
the iphone part is crap. i just dont think it belongs on an RC. that is the part that is a fail for me. other than that feature, i think its pretty cool.
i really like the main chassis, with all its aero bits.

RE: traxxas xo-1
So tired of hearing about it yet, I knew this would happen with Trx coming out with something new, more threads about it in a week than in the months before and after the SC10 4X4

It as it's appeal, however, Ipersonally will never own one. I never use on-road vehicles nearly as much as off-road and $1,000+ or a car with limited abilities is more than I can justify.A 100 MPH 1/5 SC, now we're talkin'! At least you can go to an empty field and play safely with minimal risk of damage or injury.
Regarding the telemetry function for Ipod/Iphone that most folks seem to hate; I actually embrace the concept. However, I believe Traxxaswent about it the wrong way because an IPhone isa necessity to unlock the car's full potential. They should have included a USB link or a field card for the ESCto allow everyone who would own one full control over the equipment out of the box. Then, those with Apple products OR Android phones can have the luxury of telemetry if they wish. The App would also make tweaking settings more convenient as well.
Otherwise,it's a big-o 4-Tec on 'roids! There aren't many places you can safely drive this thing. And when it eventually smacks into something solid; that would be a catastrophic sight to behold Someone please get it on video!
