Default Some of Dale's goings on - projects update

Quick and dirty updates.

Finally got my 5B and 5T cleaned up. They literally had mud caked on them for a half year after a Phatdad event before I finally got them totally cleaned up.

Picked up an SC8e RTR. This was kind of a basher choice so I have something to run around with the kids, but I am REALLY hopeful that with the release of the HPI Apache and maybe a few others that 1/8 Short Course will pick up at my local racetrack.

My short course 4x4 TEN SCTE. I just picked this up to start racing with at SDRC. This is a hot class there. I picked up a Proline body and painted it. Not sure where I was going with the paint job, but it turned out ok I guess.

I couldn't pass this up. A complete RTR Losi XXL like new for $300 with the Spektrum radio and everything.

Nice to see you on here! What are you running these days?

Ya, a lot of my old collection is gone. The XXL is still nitro; it is actually my only nitro left.

This is my last toy for a while. Hyper 9e with some 2.0 upgrades, some carbon fiber, Tekin 2050kv motor and Mamba Monster.

Actually, I still have my pimped out Hyper 7 too. I am actually going to race this soon, even after all these years.

Thanks. I have trimmed the collection quite a bit. I have 3 bashers for me and my boys (Emaxx, ESavage and RC8E), 3 racers (SCTE, Hyper 9e, Hyper 7), my two fifth scales and a Nitro MT (XXL) for nostalgic purposes.

I dumped all of my 1/14 scale and smaller and my crawlers. Besides carpet racing, I never found a good all around use for anything less than 1/10 and I tried the crawling scene but it kind of fell off for me.

Everybody needs at least one nitro. That is how we went fast before brushless and lipo.

Nice rigs Dale. Ill have to say though, nitro is still how i go fast. My jato is at least 15mph faster than anything else i own, including all 3 of my brushless rigs. Its a lot more fun to drive too.
