What bumber or thing can i use to protect car?
I have a rustler VXL and was wondering if there was a metal bumper or a bumper that sticks out to protect the front and what holds the wheels togetherfrom breaking. Or something i can make to help??

Traxxas makes a Graphite Tie bar (#2532X) but I cant find any online stores that carry it.
Metal bumpers, A-arms, and shock towers are bad news because they bend and crack. Better off with plastic parts like RPM. If you're really crash prone, put your new RPM parts in a double boiler on the stove for 30 seconds to 1 minute, and cool completely. Makes plastic a little more forgiving in crashes.

You need an RPM wide front bumper, and you need the heavy duty tie-bar up front.

I blew up my RPM bumper on it's second or third trip out, and while it was cold and I am a lousy driver I don't think that particular RPM design is very good. Check out the bumper for the 2WD Slash instead.
