Anyone out there have any experience making their own lexan bodies. I have been trying to find a Van body for my Savage with no luck so I figured why not make my own. But how hard is it really, and what would be the process?

It's not that hard to do. The hardest part is finding/building a mould for the body to be formed over.

Wow its that easy huh lol. So what can I use to make the mold and is there a cheap place to buy lexan.

EDIT: I'm also going to keep looking on you tube see what else I can find.

Was thinking of using hard foam and plaster to make my mold. Do you think this is a good idea?

What about modeling clay or something would that work?
