Default Best Truck, Best Track and Best Trick

Traxxas is holding a best truck, best track and best trick contest. Check out their facebook page for details on how to enter and to vote for other entries. I would like to enter the best trick category but my video camera is old and decrepit.

Probably, it would be good of them to include other brands and in my eyes fair, but I can't see them doing that.

And thats too bad. Traxxas can't handle the competition so of course they want one of THEIR trucks to take the name.

Well when you think about it from Traxxas' point of view it's less of a contest and more of a promotion, but it can still be a fun outlet and topic of discussion for fans of their products such as myself. It would be really cool to see a contest or competition open to all brands but I can't see any one brand taking that on without being accused of being biased if one of their products was to win in any category, such a contest would also be very controversial no matter who held it what brand was declared the winner.

It's also worth noting that the "Best Track" category could be entered and won by anybody, although a Traxxas banner or poster included in the pictures of the track would not hurt.

well traxxas doesn't make the best anything, and I guess the best trick is getting one to last more than one run.

I learned how to drive on the sidewalls of my T-maxx, but still haven't found out how to keep it from breaking something every run. piece of turd it is.

rustler would be immediately disqualified due to you committing sacrilege and using an HPI body

I'd say more facetious which is better then being an outright hater, but still it's not very nice.

Traxxas bashing is something that, I think, even fellow Traxxas owners can participate in. I will bite my tongue, but I think after buying something for hundreds of $'s, then spending that much and more to work the kinks out, it is a earned right. Kind of like us that rode Kawasaki MX bikes in the 90's, then whined about the old world handling. I spent a couple grand just making it behave exactly as I wanted it, cracked jokes about it, but loved every bit of every Kaw I owned, and I collected a few of them over the years.

Nonetheless, I think I'll enter my old faithful RPM/Castle -Traxxas Slash 4X4. Think I even have a nice shot of it in front of the 8'X4' vinyl Traxxas banner in our RC room

Funny, I don't own a Traxxas, HPI,Losi, etc.. I always went with off brands (maybe why I don't have an i-phone) but everyone of them have their up's and downs. But the reason for this comment is, I've been to alot of shows/events where they were promoted, sponsored, and partially paid for by one of the big 3 real car companies and there were other makes and models participating in the events. Why can't the hobby companies be like this? Afraid of handing a trophy to a competitor? If you think you are the "Big Boy's" in the industry then "Step Up" and show you also have "Big Ones"!

I couldnt find the pic I was wanting but I guess I'll throw in some show-off pics of her, as if I haven't already flashed this thing enough on these threads, I have to take pride and admit it's one of the nicer Traxxas' I've seen, personally! It has too much to list, and is all ROAR-legal, but if anyone wants info on whats been done and where just ask! Big ones are here: Castle MMP SCTE esc, 1410 3800Kv 4-pole motor.
