Default 550 vs 540 brushless motor

Iam looking to get the ex0 terra buggy kit by axial. As I was looking through the needed parts Inoticed that Icould use a 550 or a 540 brushless motor.
My question is, am I going to notice a major change in performance by using the 540 instead of the 550. Reason being is that the 540 is a lot less expensive.

The difference is the 'get up and go', a 550 will accelerate much faster and be less prone to heating up. You really should try to use one, however, a 540 will power the car acceptably, you may need to gear down and keep an eye on temps.
