Flux XS rear diff.
So I was bashing my XS at a BMX track the other day, and I was driving around, and all of a sudden my rear wheels weren't spinning. The center dogbones turned and so did the front drive cup on the rear diff. and when I would drive it around, the rear diff would "engage" again till I had a bad flip. It would keep doing this. Before I go taking this apart, any ideas guys?

yeah its boogered up, tear it down. honestly, I would consider getting a different truck, I have been hearing nothing but drive-train problems, just letting you know.

Well I have never had a problem since I had the truck. This is the first other than having to replace drive cups, but thats normal wear. I got it in November of 2011. I'll tear it down and see what I find.

Havea look atmy post in the XS savage thread, you could have a failed bearing or the pin has broken, I would be suprised though if you had stripped a crown or pinion, but that's possible too.

RE: Flux XS rear diff.
So I took apart the rear diff last night. There wer eno broken pins, just a chip in one of the teeth on the bevel gear. I can't imagine the chip being the sole problem of the rear diff not engaging tho. But I did get it all cleaned out an i'm going to throw some new grease in it and see what happens.
