RE: Your favourite body shell of all time
This is a great question because there are so many really good bodies available. I always wanted to get one of the HPI Jeep Rubicon bodies but I never did. There was also a guy on here a year or so ago that posted some pics of a Lancia Stratos rally car that look completely sick. I don't remover who he was or what the body went on but it was trolley.a piece of art! But I think my favorites has to boil down to one of Kyosho Inferno GT bodies. Either the Aston marten SNow body or the Ferrari body. Those are the two nicest RC Bodies I have ever seen. But if I have to pick just one, probably the Aston.

I bought (a long time ago) a body from somewhere and I didn't have a platform to put it on. It's a 1974 Detamaso Pantera body. I don't have a pic of it cause I never painted it and it's somewhere in the attic. I might have to find it and get someone to paint it and get something to put it on! This thread made me remember it!!! The year my be wrong but it's between 1971-1974 ish.

RE: Your favourite body shell of all time
I recall seeing a volvo 850 turbo wagon body in a mag once.
If someone made a volvo 740 turbo wagon body, Id have one for sure. Ive owned 5 volvo 740's, 2 of which were turbos. Those cars are alot of fun and dont cost much. My last one had a few mods, so the turbo put out double the stock PSI and that gave it about 200 RWD HP. Not alot compared to sports cars, but I only paid $1000 for the car. To get a good looking (its was a '92, but the paint and body looked great) thats rear wheel drive, turbo, leather seats, sunroof ect ready to go for a grand is pretty sweet.
So if I could have a volvo 740 body for my onroad, I would.

very square but still really classy and sporty looking, and sure footed to boot.
