Default Can sezied bearings make noises

Hey, my mt4 has developed a strange noise under hard acceleration, performance remains the same. The noise is not a clicking one.

I have inspected the whole drivetrain, only thing not write are the ball bearings, could these seized bearings make such noises?

I will make a video later to show exactly what it sounds like

They could. Think about it. When a bearing seizes up, in order for the shaft to continue spinning it has to spin on the un-lubricated steel which is the inner race. Un-lubricated steel on steel friction can make some strange sounds.

Seized bearings do make a whining noise. I bet its the rear diff main bearings (common failure on hard ridden brushless 1/8th). Change them out before your ring and pinion get eaten.

The rear diff bearings are slightly rough. The hub carrier bearings are very rough thanks to no maintanence after 10 battery packs on a beach. I will be changing them all as soon as the replacements arrive.

To be safe, I'm not going to run this truck till the bearings come as I don't want to damage something else like the ring and pinion which as of now look perfect.
