Ok first post, I am not an RC hobbyist. I am an Engineer working on a personal project. I am searching for a servo and have been bombarded with all types in my searches. I need a small battery operated servo that just retracts. It has to be very fast. I have other specs but will be happy if someone could point me in the right direction. Thanks.

What do you need it for? How fast does it need to be?

Got to Amazon.com and use their Search function for solenoid actuator. They have both push and pull types and are inexpensive.
