NASCAR is for Hillbillies. And the hardest part of their education was passing the 3rd grade.
I guess that makes me one of the highest educated, well dressed hillbilies you will ever meet.

I got to thinking while watching the Daytona 500 yesterday...........why isthe Kyle Busch truck the seemingly only NASCAR vehicle available in RC, or am I missing something?
Build it yourself if it's that important to you. AirHogs is great, and all, but won't get you any respect in these threads: http://www.airhogs.com/en/products/nascar-replica

Pan car kits are a great way to build a Scale NASCAR. Scale Truck and Car bodies are available. Try Protoform: http://racepf.com/

Also, BRP Racing offers smaller scale chassis and bodies, if you're on a budget: http://brpracing.com/

The reason many modelers shy away from these types of chassis is that they are much less forgiving than a touring car, monster truck, short course truck, etc.

A very smooth and clean surface is required to race a pan car! Not your every day basher, to play with in a residential street or cul-de-sac.

So, the bottom-line is YES, youare missing something.

EPIC! Well played Foxy haha NASCAR has never been for me either, I like anything in the dirt, really. TORC would be so cool if they would leave all the soap-opera reality show CRAP out of it on TV, and while I haven't followed it since the days of Ricky Carmichael riding for Team Green, I do still have the most love for motocross. I used to race "locally" for about 10 years, covered a 5-state area and raced every weekend. I miss it so much!

Haha the only part of nascar I enjoy is the crashes.
Thats all there is in NASCAR, a bunch of drunk hillbillies going around in circles crashing. Boring like watching paint dry.

I little bit off and uninformed, but ok! With the safety in place today, it is highly unlikely that most NASCAR drivers involved in accidents are in very much real danger. I mean, the only mortalities anyways are when some tool tries to make a right turn!!!

Crossing the road almost kills people daily, should we not talk about that?

Let's drop the amateur dramatics please, nobody here wants to see anyone hurt, as if that even needed saying.

When did I ever mention a specific crash or say I love them? Please tell me. Of course I don't want any one to get hurt, that had nothing to do with what I said, that was a completely ridiculous comment. Do you like your car? Tons of people die in cars everyday how dare you!

Really? Do you really think we wanna see people in NASCAR hurt. Those drivers know what they are getting into when they step foot into those cars and they get compensated well for the risks. I feel sorry for the alcohol numbed fans who got smacked with that debris. On a funny note, there is a girl that works in my office who got a tattoo of her favorite drivers number on her leg. Several months later he switched teams and cars and had a new number. We have never left her alone about that little mistake. Who would tattoo that kind of thing. Maybe once the driver was dead and number retired.. lol

What does this have to do with anything? Try WRC if you want to see a really dangerous motorsport. Let's get back to the topic please. Which is 'why no NASCAR bodies for RC cars'? All comments about suffering and death in NASCAR will be removed, we have that in all motorsports, it's par for the course.

Posts about people getting hurt in NASCAR and subsequent responses have been cleaned up. It's off topic and unnecessary, we all know motorsports are dangerous. Back to topic...

I'm sure that Darrell'swhinny girl routine was just for show (I hope). NASCAR drivers have been known to do road courses.
