Apparently, traxxas feels that their funny car bodies are so realistic and well detailed that you need a non-functional display chassis to be able to fully appreciate them.
They want $50 for the display chassis and $100 for the chassis w/ one of the bodies.

I think the body's are realistic I mean look at the head lights... They look like real stickers!!! Lol

For some one that is into drag racing and is no good at making static models they make a great display peice.And having dummy chassis to display body's is not exactly a new thing.

If u were into drag racing it would be a good way to display last seasons body. With its trophy.

I'm sure they will sell some, sure it's not for everyone... All depends on how they compare to prebuilt models of the same size.

been saying that for years they need to standardize sarcasm type set

maybe it should be bold blinking red text as I believe he blink tag was removed from html completely, but even if they did this I still think people wouldn't figure it out

I like Traxxas but the display stands just a joke, for less then a body and display you could get a great smaller scale replica, where everything but the internals of the motor are modeled, if your a drag racer these make better displays, some of the ones I have I got two for that price.
