I have heard of RC trucks having extended chassis, and the body will be the same, just lifted.
I have an RC10 gold pan, and also gotten an unknown graphite chassis (possibly losi or rc10gt). I filled the holes with jb weld and sanded it smooth and drilled new holes for the RC10 parts.

Somehow, unintentionally the wheel base is slightly over an inch longer (lesson learned - measure twice, three times and drill/cut ones). I decided to keep it that way and not to drill new holes. Until when I had to put the body. the body was short (dough!). Which led me to another project to create a body.

Is there any aftermarket extended chassis/frame or body for the RC10?

Has anybody extended their chassis/frame and what did you do with the body?

i extended a traxxas stampede chassis by 8 inches once....but i topped it off with a 1/5 scale truck body

FYI:
The RC10GT was never offered with a graphite chassis. That looks to be a chassis for what was called the RC10 Graphite or the Worlds car!!

I think what you did I considered conversion from 1/10 to 1/5.

My extension was only about 1.5 inch.

It is not an Associated chassis, because I had one before and the shape is different.

I guess the graphite chassis for the GT that I seen before were aftermarket parts or custom parts. I actually found one on craigslist a GT on graphite chassis. I took it for $70.00 with starter box and an extra graphite chassis.
