Swapping out Traxxas slash 2wd to 4x4
I made the mistake of buying the traxxas slash 2wd vxl instead of the 4x4, if I was to buy a slash 4x4 roller would I have all the necessary electronics to take from the 2wd and put it on the 4x4?

probably look for a deal
I paid like $120 shipped for mine over a year ago(they were almost $200+ shipping at the time) it was used, and had a $8 part broken. But in comparison to the ones in new shape I got it for a steal as it also came with the servo
looking right now I see em for $164

just look out for how much the chassis is worn also the main drive shaft. it is easy to see if it has been off road a lot

The used ones are only a few bucks cheaper which I wouldn't recommend.
Other thing to look out for is the ones that are too low like the $90 one that is missing diffs, drive shafts, and a pile of other things.

Well I made mine into a pede 4X4 after 1-2 runs so I can't say if it is or isn't
But in the end how much it cost to make it into a pede 4X4 in parts(spent like $30 shipped as I had tires and a body already) I still spent less then a pede 4X4 roller

keep in mind it IS an off road truck! a used roller will have scuffs. But if your 2wd chassis is in good shape, you can turn right back around and sell the 2wd rolling chassis and make some of your cash back.

I now have like uhhhh.... 20ish I know a I also have enough parts to make 2-3 more complete RC's laying in boxes, and 2 that I've been working on for awhile
Will say I've been too broke to buy anything for awhile now though, not that there is anything I really want (outside a TXT-2 damn you tamiya why make something so cool so expensive)
