Default Need to talk to a wheel expert.... rc10gt

( I was told to try asking this question in this forum)Well, I'm here as sort of a last ditch effort. People tell me its not possible and to give up.I have a blue chassis rc10gt. I want some really wide wheels for the rears. Taller too. Currently I have the stock 4" tall 2" wide wimpy looking setup.I want a much more aggressive look. I want 2.5" - 3" width wheels and larger maybe monster truck size tires. Like a 2.8 wheel with a imex or masher tire. And it needs to fit right.I've read where people have made the jato wheel work via adapters but I don't know exactly which ones.

All you need is wheel extensions and you will have to gear it down a bit.

You will have to figure out how much it will have to be extended and buy accordingly. I don't know if these will fit but this is what I'm talking about. http://www.rcplanet.com/ProductDetai...FWUV7AodokAA3Q

I don't know if they are all the same but on those, you put the pin threw it and it holds the pin with a set screw. Just curious, who told you it wasn't possible and to give up?

What's the axle diameter? I think there are two different sizes (old design and new design).

I do believe its a 3/16 axle. Rc10talk.net said not gonna happen.

I have a rc10gt and the axle doesnt have a "neck" so thats why I think its 3/16.

Here are some that may work if you used 12mm hex wheels. http://www.wheelextensions.com/index_files/12mm I haven't seen any specifically for the rc10 yet but I'm looking.
