Default Question re electric cars/trucks...

I have three lipo batteries intended for airplane use; specifically, this one:

Can these be adapted to a current-production car/truck/etc. RTR or kit?

No, the MaH is too low, and most packs are hard case and bigger.

It can, but depends on the vehicle. 2100 mAh isn't a lot of run time for ground vehicles (you tend to see a lot of 4000 or 5000 packs used). I see that it's a 3s pack, which is plenty of power in a 1/10 (overkill in a way) - so you'd want to be sure your ESC can handle 3s.

Also, the pack is rated at 20C, which seems on the low end of things for ground stuff - that's only what....42 amps (is my math right?) - so you'd want to be sure your ESC/motor combo isn't demanding more than that, or you'll heat that pack up quite a bit and may damage it straight away.

In short, you'll have to do some homework on the electronics to be used (motor/ESC) - find out how many amps your pack needs to supply.

IOW, its not a good idea. Oh well.

Many thanks, fellows. I kind of suspected it would't work very good.
