Servo issue - Never experienced this problem before
Hey guys i had a Hitech 645mg servo for steering in my nitro savage put in fresh batteries and tested everything out to get it ready to put my new engine in and found the servo to be bad i guess...
What it does is when i turn the radio and reciever on, test steering it works fine back and forth for about 3-5 seconds. Then it centers itself and stops working completely. Ive tested different recievers/radios and diff batteries all do the same thing. Connections are good. If i turn the truck off, then back on it works again for 3-5 seconds and then stops completely again. I swapped it out with a 945mg on the same batts and reciever and its fine now so its definatley a servo problem. Anyone know what this could be? Thanks.

Assuming the receiver has a built in BEC, you need a new servo; http://www.atomik-rc.com/Power-HD-HD...-MG-Servo.html
