What would you guys like to see take off next?

So yeah what do you guys think will be the next hit in the RC world? Like I personally think that FOFF (Formula Off-Road) trucks to be more out there. I'd also like to see rally being the next big thing in the future. But these are my opinions what do you guys think?

My personally.... I'd love to see 1/8 scale trucks/crawlers

but it im hoping the next best thing is going to be 1/5 scale off road racing... We just need a manufacture apart from MCD to take on Losi

Rally as there are not too many choices. You have that overpriced HPI one, and a few Tamiya, then there are umm... can't think of any.
With great speed comes greater repair bills.

The traxxas Rally is just the slash 4x4 chassis same thing as slash 4x4 really... Does anyone make FOFF trucks? A lot of work goes into it. Like people get wraiths and just make it so sick its awsome:3 wait are there 2wd 1/8 nitro buggys? that would be cool

Id like to see larger scale crawler trucks
axials are nice, but 1.9 wheels don't work for me. and when you put 2.2 wheels on it doesn't look scale. The trucks are not the issue, so much as the body. There are very few bodies that are scale and have wheel wells large enough for 2.2s
I have built a 1/5 crawler in the past. It is not hard to make a 1/8 crawler to work with a 1/5 scale body.

Id like to see a "tank" tread machine made for speed! not crazy fast, but 20mph would be nice. and also one that has high ground clearance, not like on a scale tank. Ive had a kyosho blizzard, and if it had more ground clearance it would be much more capable. That, and having the front of the track angled upwards....which would help it climb up over stuff.

Losi has come out with their RallyX. It's a large-enough (short-course sized) platform that it should perform off road pretty well. I saw a favorable review. It has the AVC Spectrum receiver that has built-in sensors that control throttle and steering to give you, well, Active Vehicle Control, the RC version of real car stability controls. Supposed to make it easier to drive faster. (and break more parts, I'd wager) I TOO would love to see a good rally car. The RallyX is the closest I've seen, but at $400, a bit dear for my budget. Same for the Traxxas Rally, and probably doesn't have the performance of the Losi.

The thing about a Rally class taking off is, holding actual rally stages would be difficult, wouldn't it? Not many people have acres of property to make their own tracks (I'm lucky). I suppose a few stages could be set up in a large RC track area, but I think it might be limited. I hear it's fairly popular in Europe, tho, where REAL Rally racing IS really popular. Don't know how they do it.

    Maybe rally cross with fpv?

Yea large scale crawlers would be awesome. And with a larger scale platform you can have a nice properly built gas/nitro powered crawler!

Rally cross would be cool at least 100 meters in length though and running 3s lipo plus classes for 1/10 scale.

How about solid axle vehicles. Not just crawlers or scalers, but actual Trophy, Core, FOFF, and Rock Bouncer type vehicles and in 1/8 scale and 1/5 scale. The Losi 5ive is almost there, throw a solid rear axle in it and boom. I know you can build one custom but that doesn't help on budgets. All the manufacturers focus on is scale looking roll cages, tires, bumpers...blah, get us some scale axles to play with! A Twin Hammer in larger scale would be cool and even better as gas.

how about a rc car with a one piece motor and ESC unit. that can quickly be changed between cars. so you could have a few different classes and just one motor and ESC.
MORE THAN 20 RC CARS AT THE MOMENT. BUT IM CUTTING DOWN HONEST. LOL
