1st is an original nitro RS4 which as someone who owned one isn't worth fixing as its a piece of junk(seriously it was a VERY bad design). The motor liked to strip spur gears as the torque from the motor would warp the thin chassis plate, and change the gear meshing leading to stripping. I wish I took the advice of the guy at my LHS when I got mine, and dumped it instead of fixing it as like I said it turned out to be a turd. That one you have is missing quite a few parts, and would probably cost more to get the parts then buying another. The motor was also trash in that model (I had 3 of them in other old HPI's)

2nd I dunno my guess is a 1/10th scale buggy need closer up pics, and preferably bigger

Edit Holy crap am I good figured out the buggy within a min lol can't believe typing in purple 1/0th buggy chassis in google got me a pic on the 2nd page lol

Pick whatever you wanna call it as they are all the same thing sold by different companies
Here is a page that has the manual for the Touring car version which outside arms, shocktowers, and bumper looks the same http://myrc.com.au/forum/index.php?topic=59.0

Thank you so much for your help, I'll take your advice and flush the turd and ill see what the parts for the buggy will set me back always thought a buggy would br smaller for some reason, this thing is huge ant it can fix monster truck tires with no problem. Again thank you.

come'on syco, you are slipping! I took one look at the purple 4wd chassis and new it was a tornado
the wing mount, front bumper and shape of the suspension arms are all dead give'aways.

as syco mentioned, finding and buying parts for the hpi would cost a fair bit. you could part it out on ebay tho. some older RC's can get hard to find parts for, and thus used parts that people need they will pay a few bucks for. it will take time to sell it all off of course, but youd get more for it in the long run.

Yea I swear I don't know how I didn't know that as I own so many redcats(1 that I used for 2 mins). The way you could tell so fast its almost like you were a redcat dealer at one time, and owned a pile of them...

I figured youd recognize it even tho you haven't owned them, since we see them on rcu from many newbs who broke them and don't know how to fix them.
but yeh, having owned 70% of the models they sell does help me spot a chassis quickly

it is a good thing the OP didn't pay much...that redcat isn't worth more than $30.
