I can't think where to put this question so here goes.

On the basis that there are 3 wheeler cars around I was wondering if there are any 3 wheeler RC kits about?

I have been repairing and upgrading an old Action Man /GI JOE motorbike and sidecar. (See pics)
I would like to put two wheels on the sidecar and add a small directional wheel so it will drive and steer the whole combination but as this will only ever be a "toy" I am struggling to find anything I can adapt.

Any suggestions will be very much appreciated,

there was the Redcat S-TRYK-R, but I think that is the opposite of what you want as it had 2 front wheels, and one rear.

and on the stryker, only the rear wheel is a drive wheel.

how big is that side car? if it is fairly large, then some other rc parts may be adaptable to fit somehow, tho it wont be easy and will take a fair bit of work.

The sidecar dimensions are 8" Long x 5" wide x 5" High

It sounds like the stryker is the wrong way round for me.
I'll need a small wheel at the front for direction and the drive spindles either side of a slowish (T70?) motor in the rear.

To give an idea of my relatively simple skills here's a 1:6 (Dragon) Jeep I'm converted using an Electix Boost RC chassis I modified.
This has a T70 motor in it to give the slow Jeep like response.
The lights (LEDs) work whether the trailer is attached or not. when attached they work on my scratch built trailer too.

The only problem is I don't have enough experience to be able to identify what all the parts are called.
It look from this like I'm after a relatively small RC (toy) car and then I'll need to take the front axle off and just have one wheel attached to the front servo?
If I understand the next step I think I would also need to remove the rear wheels and attach my sidecar wheels?

Having just seen the Tonka Ricochet Trickster (Buzsaw) I was wondering whether to simply cut a hole on the base of the sidecar and pop one of these in?

well best option I could think of is look at a real life motorcycle, or bicycle and try and copy that. won't be easy but it would give the steering you want as I don't know of anything that does 1 wheel steering on the market.

SyCo, Thanks for the suggestion.
I had thought of trying to put a servo inside a figure so the rider would steer and a spindle/gear which would rub on the rear tyre to turn it but I don't have the skill/experience which is why I'm looking for a simple two/three wheel drive unit to go under/inside the sidecar.
