Default what dose rev/nor mean on controller?

I just bought two new rc's and notice there Is a nor/rev switch on the steering and throttle. can you tell me what I should have It on and what It means?

Stands for normal/ reversed. It just reverses the direction of the servos. If you turn right and the car turns left, flip the steering switch the other way. Same with the throttle.
