Default Very noob question... kid pushing car around

I am brand new to RC. Just got a Traxxas Slash 4x4 Platinum. We took it out of the box and the kid pushes it around the floor for a couple minutes. I finally notice that it is making a clicking sound as it is being pushed, and take it away. I spin a single wheel with my fingers and notice that the opposite wheels spins in the other direction... no clicking sound. Uh-oh. I'm worried it could have been damaged by forcing both wheels to spin forward. It hasn't even had a battery in it yet, and I won't have a chance to bring it outside and try until later this week.

It should be fine. It's supposed to do all of that. Have fun with your new rc.

Thank you! Now I can relax for the next few days until I can try it out.

Make sure to read through the manual and before you do anything with the truck, read it again !
