Default What is a must for upgrades - HPI Baja 5SC

So I am picking up a 1 month old Baja 5SC today. Comes with the original box, tools, manual, etc. A kid needing money for school and no time to play. He has installed a turtle racing hd enclosed clutch system, new hostile mxt tires and outerwear air filter. What I would like to know, what is the musts for upgrades?

This is my first RC car, so the learning starts now.

Make sure it has a good servo, apart from that upgrade as you break.

You would want high torque, metal geared, like these; http://www.atomikrc.com/collections/...-digital-servo

And then just upgrade as it breaks, just like Foxy said.

The servo that we are talking about is for the gas - brakes or steering. Or both?

I installed the RC Killer super bee kill switch. Fairly easy, just time consuming.
