RC Car/Truck Stand
I was in need of something cheap to simply display some of my RCs in my man cave. I remember some stands from years ago, and someone mentioning they looked like what some guitarist use to prop their foot up on. They had 5 height settings.
I have been eyeballing some car stands on eBay auctions. I was not liking the prices I saw pop up...I Yahoo! searched "5 position RC car stand"....this Foot Rest caught my eye.
The stand/foot rest has a slight slope to it (aprox. 2 degrees), and fits nicely under my RCs that I need lifted.
The picture with the SC truck on the stand... is "in" the lowest position.
For $9.95 + free shipping I think their great! I just wanted to share this; maybe help out someone else in the same situation.

I will mainly be using the stands for displaying my rides, but one will be used as a work stand for my Yeti. I normally use my Duratrax stands with rotating tops to work on my RCs, but my Yeti has so much suspension travel, the tires touch my work bench and doesn't sit flat on the Duratrax stand.
I do prefer work stands with the ability to rotate a RC vehicle, and not have to move the base of the stand.

That's awesome! If it was up to me, I'd go to my basement and whip out some battery acid to start anodizing that stand yellow/gold to match color scheme. Better yet, I'd take the stand over to my living room/powder coating room, and begin spraying yellow particles from my electrostatic gun.
