Default Clutch issue,I think...

So, I was driving my nitro rc in the local park, and it suddenly cut. So I went over to start it, but noticed that the wheels were turning when I pulled the cord. I made no attemp to start it because I decided It would just try to runaway. When I push the truck, the spur and clutch bell do not move like they normaly do. I can"t push it in reverse because the wheels simply won"t move backwards, although they normally do. I'm guessing either the clutch shoes or the spring are bad? Im gonna take it apart some time soon, but I'd rather not take out the engine for no reason.

Sounds like something let go in the clutch and jammed at least one of the shoes into the bell. It's gotta come out, no doubt about it.

Chances are a clutch spring broke.

Either you have the wrong shoes or they aren't seated all the way.

Well, they are certianly not the same as the old ones... I'll trim them a bit on each side, dont see how that can damage anything, so its worth a try.
