Default Old car new battery problems

Batteries wiring fell apart, bought new venom 3c 11.1v 2200 20c , old battery was 5-FM-0.7 (10v700mAh) 3 wires (red, black, blue) car does nothing with blue unattached. Blue attached the throttle works but no steering, I have come to the conclusion I need an esc to divert a lower voltage to my steering servo, I don't know what I need or where to find it . Car is a 2006 approx Wei Da product, any help will be greatly appreciated

Can you post pics of the car, old battery, and new? This may help in getting an answer.

Any tests I can do to help me find the voltage of the servo or a site that has and describes parts that do different voltages

Hi Guilty. With an old car, and an off-brand, finding OEM parts may be nigh impossible. You might have to replace the electronics all together. A small Hobbywing system might be a good fit. And a good ol' Hitec 645MG servo is a strong, affordable servo.
