What are these concepts wheel hubs?
So I got three pre-mounted Jconcepts Double Dees for my Slash 4x4, only to find that it doesn't use 12mm hexes. Instead it is a circular hole without any sort of adapter. Maybe it's a 17mm end? Either way, can I modify the wheel in any way to have it fit the 12mm hex on my Slash?

The wheels with the circular hole only are front wheels. They cannot be modified to run on the rear. Traxxas vehicles have specific front and rear wheels on most models.

I'm curious if the the wheels, that are meant to use bearings in them, were listed as such. Normally the specs from JConcepts will tell you the RC platform fitment, and if they are used with bearings/pins/hexes.
Just food for thought , not all wheel offsets are the same when shopping for SC wheels. Just because a wheel has 12mm hex doesn't mean they will be putting your SC truck at the correct width.
I bought a used RC short course truck, and it came with extra wheels and tires. I wondered why the mounted tires looked new. After running my SC10 for a couple of laps, the truck would be making horrific noises after every landing. I realized why previous owner never used the wheels/tires...Traxxas wheels pushes the tires out 8mm farther then stock SC10 wheels.
