Default Newbie with 1/10 body, clueless re: chassis

Good morning. I am entirely new to the r/c world. I own a BMW Z3 Coupe and one day saw a 1/10 200mm clear HPI BMW M Coupe body shell on eBay and just had to buy it (#7432 BMW M COUPE BODY (200mm)).

I want to finally put this on a chassis but am wondering if I am limited to HPI or would this fit others? Secondly, what would we be a decent quality setup for me to get into as I am leaning towards electric? Budget maybe aprx. $200-250. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks so much!

You could put the body on pretty much any 200mm chassis. That is my understanding. Sometimes touring car kits are labeled with their widths. Other times you will need to look at the specs to find a suitable chassis.
