Question please help on speed control , Many thanks

Hello everyone,
I just got a MG995 servo and first time to play on it. It seems not as easy as I thought.
I don't know how to control the speed. Would any one please provide any sample code or instructions for the speed control?
Thank you in advance for your time!

Provide sample code? I think you need to let everyone know what your plans are for the servo, but to start, voltage and transmitter with servo speed adjustment will be my input.

Are you trying to control this via Arduino?

Also, this is not a good servo. It is not accurate, has very poor centering and speed and it is not digital. It has digital printed on the label but if you tear into one you will find just analog controllers.

Thank you very much for your reply, RustyUs.
I am doing a experiment of a liner movement. I only need to use the servo to move a gear bar back and forth freely as linear motion. Plus, I can adjust the speed whenever I need.
But the servo only can move in one speed. I don't know how to change the speed. that is all I need to know by now.
Would you give me any advise from here.
Sorry, I am just a very beginner. My questions may be very silly to you.
Thanks for your patience!

Thanks Brian!
Yes, I am trying to control the speed of MG 995 via Arduino for a simple linear motion for an experiment, It is not for making a car or airplane.
I am trying to use it to make an equipment.
Would you recommend a better servo or controller? Thanks again.

Hi Brain,
Thank you very much!
Yes, it worked. I could change the angle to any degree of the sweeper now, but I don't know where to change the speed of the rotation speed.
I wish to move the sweep quicker or change the rotation speed as what I want.
Would you please advise how should I make it or what should I do next?
Many thanks
