Rc car will not go fast anymore

Unhappy Rc car will not go fast anymore

hi something is wrong with my rc car when i try to move it the wheels make a weird noise and it will not go very fast or turn at all

That's where I'd start ^^^^.

More info should be given. What RC platform? What motor? Battery? Charger?

Besides the obvious checking battery is up to the task, should begin checking for loose wires. Perhaps you motor is brushed and the brushes are shot (worn out)?

I doubt the wheels are making weird noises. More than likely it's what the wheels are connected to. Taking apart your RC; working your way into the tranny's gears, is part of maintenance process at keeping your RC running in top form. Bearings not kept in good shape will reek all kinds of havoc on the driveline.

Ball diffs going out of whack make a real weird, like grinding, noise.
