ive spent about 700$ on my latest car a XTM X-cellerator its the best stadium truck ive ever had... my xxx-t has become a shelf queen[:@] i suggets you guys check out these XTM cars there great i hadnet heard of them till my LHS told me... i wish i woulda gotten this thing when it came out...

i think i spent around 250 for my rs4 3 type ss and i only drove it through 11 tanks ,cant wait for my engine to come and other parts

About $3500 so far. I've been in it for about 5 years. Right now I have Hpi Nitro RS4 MT, Ofna Ultra GTP, Traxxas T-Maxx, Hpi RS4 Micro, and Traxxas Stampede. I'm planning on getting a electric TC3 over the summer so that gonna be probobly another $400-$500. Defintitely all well worth it.

I inherited an 86 kyosho ultima...first thing i did was rip out the msc replace it with a duratraxx unit, next i installed a le-mans 17T motor...not sure what to do next, but 3300-mah batteries and chargers and all combined...i've spent very close to $500 in two weeks, and i've only run it once.
when this has lost it's appeal, i'm gonna look for a nitro rustler.

not to bash canadianracer, but the 426 hemi put out 425hp and 490 ft/lbs of torque, and was one of the greatest high performance engines ever.

i have had a midnight pumpkin, an AE b3, a duratrax street force, a terra crusher, and a savage in about 2-3 years (i am 14). now i have the savage and the pumpkin. i have spent atleast 1,900 on hopups and vehicles! woops! and my balance withmy parents at this time is about -192.00 but i will pay them back...........eventually.

well me 150 for the car 120 for the radio 70 for temp gun 100 for one os rg 100 for another os rg 40 dollars for a sleeve pincher 60 for a tool box plus about 200 of other misalaneus supplys so about 800 dollars
well hell the president of a club i rase with bought 800dollars out of parts out of a trailer at a race for his kyosho knari 3 they were all feorna parts

Holy Sheet Batman. I have spent zero so far.... Unless you include when I was 15 many moons ago and I think around the 200 range. Anyway, seeing all this is starting to scare me. I figured I could get into this sport/hobby pretty much for a grand or so (2 cars) and then have a minumal amount of maintenance and hop ups. I already own toooooo many expansive toys. (03 Z400 10K invested) (02 CBR 600 9k+) and a 03 YZ 250(6kish).... anyway.... now I am starting to think twice about even getting started in this....... [:-]

Unfortunately, I could have bought a pretty nice REAL Truck by now. 6 RC trucks, and a couple of years later....geese, I don't even want to think about it....Now I'm off to Tower Hobbies to spend some more

Man I feel so small compared to some of yall, i'm mosty into parkinglot bashing, ive got a Duratrax street force for christmas, and bought a .15 rustler off ebay that i'm currently upgrading
so a total of about $385
i'm getting the Kyosho drifter kit in about a year (That is a sweet car)

i wish i felt small to you. i got to much in r/c cars. i just got my drivers permit today also. im going to be cutting back to only broken parts and gas after a couple more hop-ups. have to save up for real car parts.

I'm 22 and 5 days in this rc/ thing and i have spent close to five hundred. And I don't have everthing yet, like rechargable battery pack and charger and all those fancy tools. So I'm looking at about close to $600-$700. HOT DAMN thats alot of money in less that a week. It's ok though cuz when I finished breaking in my gt4 and opened it up full throttle I nearly wet myself cuz it was so fast. And it wasn't even shifting to second, but I fixed that. I think this car can really do 60mph in a all out drag.
