dm-
Why did you take it in?
In other words, what "tuning" did you expect the lhs to do?
Not trying to bust you, just trying to understand.
First thing I would do is ask them why my car isn't in better shape than when I left it. They should replace everything that they damaged, as well as give you your $25 back for the inconvenience. If you're young, or don't feel comfortable confronting them, then get some help from an adult or someone who is comfortable. If they don't make it right, don't go there again! Tell your friends about it. Tell anyone who will listen. Most lhs's are absolutely dependent on repeat business (my lhs can vouch for me), and this clown doesn't sound like he deserves yours.

Uhh no.. breaking someone's shiny car is "Destruction of property".
This picture looks like it was taken "before" but I cant be too sure.
Go back there ASAP and explain this to the manager and ask em to replace broken parts if any.
1) $25 for a tune up is a TOTAL rip off.. just go tothe track.. when someone notices that your a noob, they'll HAPPILY help you!! People did that to me and I'll be eternally grateful.. and will definitely return the favor to some other noob.
2) I agree with Zip Zap.. dont let their bad service slide.. do what you can, LEGALLY.. to either realize their mistake or get em to shut down If you tell enough people.. trust me they will feel it.. there arent that many RCers out there!
Good luck! And go back already.. it may already be too late.

Well if it wasn't illegal i would fire bomb the place. But it is so go ask for the owner of the shop and tell him what has happened. If his a decent guy he will sort it out for you.

Yeah my lhs i went in there and asked how much it was for them to tune my engine. and they said nothing. The guy then did a full look over of my car. He completely took apart the engine and cleaned it e.t.c. Also he put the piston the right way round as i changed the piston and sleeve about a month ago and put it in the wrong way No wonder i had problem tuning it. I gave him a tasty tip of £5. I should of payed him about £50

i would [sm=punching.gif] and make them give me my money back. lol. that must be bad. whats messed up on it?? they should pay for it. they actually have to run the car to tune it. but to get reckless with it. thats plain stupid.[sm=idea.gif] i bet they did some highspeed test which for tuning an engine is needed but for what they broke they should replace.
