ACME Condor Pro
Hey there!
I'm new on here and was wondering about opinions of a new buggy I've just bought.
I had a Thunder Tiger DT10 but slowly it was falling apart and the .15 engine didn't have the same grunt it used to...
So, I ordered a "ACME Condor Pro"
It seemed a good price, for a fully built buggy with Team Infinity .18 engine, 4 wheel drive, 2 speed with controller and everything I needed to get going apart from batteries and fuel.
You can see it here- http://www.********.co.uk/proddetail...f30b7e625576fa
Has anybody got one? Or any experience with them?
And can anyone explain how it changes gear?
Many thanks, In advance.
Jack

RE: ACME Condor Pro
I have had my Condor Pro for about 2 months now.
I have to say that it is FAST!
I can see everybodys point about the cheap China machines, but this is a great entry into the nitro rc scene.
I'm sure at some point (wife permitting!!!) that i'll opt for a 'big name' car.
But for the mean time i'm enjoying what i've got.
They do seem to break quite easily, however parts are available online from ********.com
However experience and better driving skills will help prevent damage!
The best tip i can give to those condor owners is to look after them. Clean car after use, clean air filter, use after run oil, check screws and familirise yourself with the cars workings.
I stripped mine completley (took 3 hours) and cleaned and put back together.
I now feel more confident when something goes wrong!
How about you condor owners posting vids / photos?
How about an Acme / condor Forum?
Anybody modded their condor? It would be good to see some none standard hop ups from someone!
Chris.

I think you can adjust the 2 speed offset shift on the 2 speed box itself. Not done it myself but the help on the ******** site explains how to do this.
Good luck.

I have a condor pro. Still a little breaking in to do but runs great. The only complaint i have is the suspension. IT'S WEAK VERY WEAK! The second time i had it out thrashed the front suspension. luckily i found some alum. upgrades and currently waiting for them to come in, but will keep update on here
