Servo hop ups for 1/8 buggies?
My Hyper 7 has Futaba 3003 servos. The steering servo gears just got stripped. I just read that the lag time for these servos is 0.23s/.. Is that real slow? Would i have to spend a lot of cash to upgrade to a much faster more usable steering servo?
Anyway, i would love some suggestions for a half decent servo set for a backyard 1/8 buggy.
What servos do amature racers use?
Thanx!!

A metal gear servo would be help solve the stripped gear issue. The S3003 is the 'entry level' futaba servo if you will... not super fast, not super durable, but it works. The S3305 would be a much more rugged servo from Futaba:
