Default Mamba Max ESC and Castlelink Problem! :X

Sorry if it's a noob repeat question.. But I'm having quite a problem over here.

I've installed all my drivers, and Castle Link correctly, I believe.

The problem is:

When my Mamba Max ESC (I'll just call it the MM right now), it just flashes Green and Red.
I attempt to do something on Castle Link, but it just beeps at me, as if it's not selected. Task bar is selected, everything.

It detects my MM, or so says the Castle Link. Any ideas?

Make sure the battery is unplugged and the switch on the ESC is set to on. Also make sure you plug in the wire in the correct way. I also plug in the ESC after I open the castle link software.

I have never used the castle link for the mamba max just for a few of the airplane esc and the bec but as far as I know there is no reason for the motor to be connected but there also should be no harm in it, but I would not have a battery connected just to be on the safe side.

Under Device Commands when you click read settings do you get a response then? If not their might be a problem with the esc.

It doesn't let me click on anything. When even clicking logo, or file, it simply beeps at me....

Do you use the castle link or do you connect directly to the mamba max esc?? If you connect directly to the MM try disconnecting it from the USB cable and see if you still get a beep from trying to use the program. If you don't get a beep then their is a good chance your MM might be bad, I had the same problem with a BEC when trying to program it I would just get a beep from the computer.

If unplugged, I still get the beep.

It's as if the item isn't available to use.

Can you click on the Update and Check for update buttons on the top or do you just get a beep then to? If you get a beep then I would uninstall the program and reinstall it from there web site.

Running XP Pro SP3.

Just upgraded to SP3, wanna see how much better it is.

So far, I'm okay... Don't notice any large improvement though. Lame microsoft.

I was already uninstalling while you told me to uninstall, and reinstall. Fortunately, it worked! Woohoo, time to read the manual. >_>

I didn't notice a difference with SP3 either just when I switched from media edition back to standard XP I can't stand media edition.

Any luck with the install and MM now? Don't forget to do a restart after all this fun your having.

Hmm, after thinking about it, I have 3 hdds.
1 External (Most of the time off, my backup)
2 Internals (120 GB C: and D
80GB G:

I installed the Castlelink Program on my partitioned 120GB disk, drive D, but when reinstalled, I installed it onto my C drive, my OS partition.

Could this matter?

My Mamba Monster Max doesn't tone when connected to castle link, and I don't think my Mamba 25 did either. The tone comes from the motor, not the ESC.
