kyosho astra nitro car
here is a few pics of my kyosho 1/10th scale astra nitro car i am building at the moment, what do you guys think so far. [8D]

I've been building that one too. This is mine so-far. Getting the sticker sheets next issue so I can do the lights and window frames etc.

did u guys get servos(issue 49) i have been waiting 4 mine 4 ages. anyone used theres yet and if so wat is it like. and also was this your first time car. i posted sometin a little while back but got no replies

Yeah I have both servos. Just missing a receiver at the moment, got to buy it as I didn't subscribe. Did you not get yours with the issues?
I have about 4 other nitro cars including a Monster GT and Savage. This little car got me back interested in the hobby though after a 10 year break!! I haven't run it yet, waiting until it's finished with all the upgrades. Looking forward to the porsche shell.

i decided to just stick with the standard 60 issues. what do u get if u continue. i subscribed and got the receiver but i am goin to upgrade it to an fm as i have had to many bad expiriences of run aways. i am still waiting for servos but i am up to issue 55.

From what I remember, you get new five spoke wheels with racing tyres, a tuned exhaust pipe, uprated shocks, ball bearings for the gearbox and a new porsche racing body shell.

im on issue 60, wear did u find out about thge upgrade parts. does any one know if it comes with a glowstarter or do i need to by one.

There was a little bit of card slipped in with the latest issue saying it had been extended and it listed all the extras.
I think you need to buy your own glo-starter.

did the card listing the extrascome in issue 60, i have looked in all of the latest issues and i cann not find it. would some one scan it in and post it on hear pleasssseeeee. Has any one thought of what paint sckeme theyll be using yet, im considering a gt40 duck egg blue with2 orange stripes on the left. should look gd but i cant find the colour any one have suggestions where to find it?

the car beinng built is a kysho alpha gp. i have found a picture of it and sure enogh it looks alike but the one i found looks like it has the upgrades on (5 spoke rims...)
if you ask me IM DEFFINATELY carrying on if thats what itall look like.

ask your lhs for the paint as they can probably order some for you. the colour scheme i am going with is a black with dark shiny purple flames. i would like to show you the template i have got but dont know how.

Sounds good. The tuned exhaust is coming in the next issue

im on de postal one nd it gettss deliverd every month with de issues so at the mo iv finished 59 and waitin for 60 so the chassis is done i need de spoiler screws.

if it is that shell which i think it is or itll be an old gt2 but any way if its the one i posted earlyer im thinking of a white/cream body wich Yokomo 10 Spoke Mesh Chrome Wheels. should look gd i already have a porsche shell and the lights look crap. the tintid yellow ones on the new shell look alot better if thats what deagosine will be using.

i am going to stick a thunder tiger .21 engine in it. am currently modifying the motor mount to fit the chassis. with the new engine in i will be running around 70(or so i hope). it will be amazing with that in but the car only has 1 gear as standard and it would be really hard to modify my 3 gear arangement from another car to fit. oh well i will keep you posted.
