Nothing wrong with the Jato if thats what your looking for, I have one. HPI has been the same, I have ss kit going on 3 seasons with minor problems, and recently picked up the 4.6, both are great. My LST dominates them on the track though.
Not everyone has the same luck with any truck, so pick the ones that suit you.

Well two more day's and I'll be bringing my new truck back, got 700$ cash to drop at the hobby shop minus food and gas for that day so should be a good day!

If you have to go with Traxxas, which I am not a big fan of, go with the Revo not the T-Max as from what I have read the T-Max will take a lot of changes and money to keep it from being so fragile. Once again it all depends on what type of driving you are going to do. As far as bashing a Savage is a proven basher!!! As far as HPI goes I would not have 4 of their vehicles if I had had any problems with HPI. I am sure what ever you get you will have fun. Keep us posted.

Well it's 10:31 am where I'm at and I just got back from the hobby shop, I bought a Traxxas Revo, did not have any savage's in stock, I purchased the revo then took it back to the mechanic and told him to make this a mean revo, going to go pickit up tommorow!!! Cant wait!!!

shock mount's, quickturn driveshaft, aluminum axle carrier, 14t clutchbell, 40t spur gear, silver alloy arm's, trinity high flow super pipe, yes i have pic's get them on here asap
