RE: Hi...Few Questions
The axis is an OK entry level 1/8 scale buggy. Part for it are still readiily available through companies like Tower Hobbies. The price is pretty good. I'd go for it if it was me.

RE: Hi...Few Questions
don;t go trying to increase the performance b4 you properly know how to drive, and fully understand whats going on!
1/8th scale buggy's go pretty dam fast in their stock form, so if i were you, i'd geta grip on the car first, and don;t go trying to hop it up in any serious way for a month or 2.

RE: Hi...Few Questions
The Axis will not need any performance upgrades to be more than fast enough to keep a smile on your face. Rather than dumping money into it to make it any faster, save up for your next r/c (or a new engine when the one in the axis wears out).

Buying cars from freinds is not a good idea. Then it messes up and freinds blame freinds and other stuff like that. It could end freindships![]

That's why you lay it all on the line when it's time to trade or buy, make everything clear at that present time, what you will need to get it going, what kind of problem's it may have etc...
