You should also pick up a couple of spare glow plugs and a temp gun. It's important not to run the engine too hot (you don't want to run over 280 degrees.

Keep the air filter clean you manuel will tell you how to do this. Adjusting the carb is tricky. When you get your car just remember to get familar with it. were stuff is and what screw does what on it. You can alway ask us and we will try to help. You will need at least 1 extra glow plug but I would get more.

Also one of the most important things with nitro enginnes is correctly breaking in the engine. Ask if you dont know what im talking about.

heat cycle it for the first two tanks.
On the first tank, leave it at the factory settings and start it up, and drive it slowly around in circles or wateva for 2 mins. Kill it (pinch the fuel line) and let it cool right back down to air temp.
Then start it up again for another 2 min run. repeat this for the first tank, Then on the second tank do 4 min runs, before shutting it down.
on the third tank start getting it up to over 3/4 throttle and u might wanna lean it slightly.
4th tank start getting up to full throttle. (lean it again a bit if u think its still running too rich)
Then after that start tuning the thing for max performance
This is what I do pretty much with my engines, And I've never really had any issues.
You might want a spare glow plug or two, cos sometimes you can kill the plug during break in.

Yes if it is to rich it will stall. that is from the glow pulg loading up with fuel. Which is why we say have a couple to start. Since Break in I have only had to change my glow plug once, and that was my fault. I mess the tune up and whent back to fotory setting and ran it to long rich. I brake in all the motors I have built by the heat method. 1:1 cars, motorcycles, Dragbikes and My jato. If you use this method just get your temp up to what you are going to run it at buy the 5th tank. JMO.
