Getting In To Off Road
hey all
i decided i want to build an off road car (nitro/petrol). After watching several off road videos on this site it makes me want to have one
me and my friend built an electric on road together a long time ago and used to take the hobby very seriously but we kinda stopped due to exams
but now me and him finished college we want to start again and have a go off roading
so i was wondering, is it best building one from scratch or getting a kit
for the time being we want to spend $450 max and hopefully spend more money towards it in the future for upgrades
the one car i kinda fancy is the traxxas revo, after reading the review and the video it is def one of my ideal style for an offroad car
so basically i just want to know where to start
thanks a lot, sorry if this thread is confusing, it is nearly 3 in the morning in the uk and i am very sleepy

The revo is fine, but my favorite is the MGT 4.6. Still saving for mine.

Have a look at the HPI [link=http://www.hpiracing.com/]Savage[/link]. Great off-road truck for bashing. Lots of upgrades available. A kit will get you familier with the truck, but a RTR will cost you less. Check out the MT [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/forumid_250/tt.htm]Forum[/link] here.
