Default Settings

What temps are you seeing and how are you checking them?

Return to factory needle settings and start over.

Are you using the spit test? If you believe it is overheating, richen the settings.

I also ask what dbow asked. How do you really know it is overheating without any gauges/temp gun.

You mentioned you saw smoke. Elaborate and we probably can help.

if your motor was previously tuned for warmer weather you have to tune it to be more rich due to the colder air.
you have to do this because the colder air is more dense then warmer air. with higher density you get more oxygen into the cylinder. so now you need to add more fuel inorder to burn the extra oxygen.
