RE: Himoto Racing 1/10 Official Support
Hi... Thanks to my friend i could test the engine settings of my Eldorada yesterday and it was great... But suddenly my rear wheel flew off. I broke the axle... Now i want to ask if any other brand part is suitable for it. I made a search and i found that Hpi Rs4 3 front axle is nearly the same. Does it fit my car? Please help...
The first one is my part and the second one (32x5) is for Rs4 3

i am a novice for now. i have a gp car for a week so i don't drive aggressively. The car was steering and had sideways then the wheel hit a ledge on the road laterally. That cused a big cutting stress on the part. That is my opinion. But it's funny that a monster truck uses an onroad car part when i think of the endurance. If you saw it, you would never belive the flying off the wheel. It was so weird for me too...

Well guys.... just bought a duratrax raze. I would have rather got the himoto but the only reason i could even get this thing is thanks to tower hobbies 3 easy payments. Also got a coupon for $30 off. So i got the raze for $250($83 a month). Anyone have any knowledge on these things?

In Türkiye, himoto is about 350 $ and raze is about 600-700 $ in the local hobby shops. Yesterday i had a radio control problem and my car crashed a wall at 60-70 kmph. i only broke the plastic bumper. Then i thougt i solved yhe problem and that caused another big accident. This time i broke the steering arm. i am really regretfull of buying a car which has no spare parts in my country...

Hey all, got a question. I bought my daughter one of the Himoto Electric Syclone buggies. However, it seems that the ESC keeps cutting out after running for a while. Let it set for a few minutes or turn it off and back on and it runs for a few more minutes then cuts off again. It acts like it is getting hot but the FETs don't feel hot at all. Any ideas?

OldSkulRC... What kind of pack are you running? I had the same problem when i ran a pack over 2500mah.... eventually it killed the ESC. Thats the first thing to change. The buggy should have the same setup as my car. You have the blue noisy esc?

She is running an 1800 pack with the blue "noisy" ESC and the stock Himoto motor. I was actually fixing to put a Trinity P2K copper top in it. But I may be investing some in a new ESC.

yes I would go with the better ESC they have some new models on the web site in the new catalog you will see them and josh seems to know alot about the electric he as been threw the whole thing and seems to have dialed in the right combo and I think it would work great for your buggy too, so go to Himotoracing.com and down load the new catalog. I hope you get the right set up and she has fun and enjoys the hobby

iv hered (from josh mainly lol) that the stock motor is actually very competative, but iv also herd that the esc is a weak spot, but yeah if eric said that himoto has a new updated esc coming out, i would go with that, himoto is good about that they listen to their costomers and fix problems, so like eric said go to himotos web site and down load that new catalog.

A new ESC will fix that problem. Check out Himoto's site for the newer ones. Once you get a better ESC drop a 3000mah pack in it and you'll be shocked by the performance. I run 3500mah in my on-road(nascada) himoto. That stock motor is nothing of what i thought it would be. I took a Trinity Co27, and a hand tuned stock motor. The hand made beat the trinity but the stock motor still was the fastest. After that i couldn't believe it so i changed the gearing.... Made the trinity and the hand made run alot better. So i tried the stock motor with the new gearing and geeeez. I am still running mine at the tracks with the stock motor... and it's the car to keep up with.

What ESC are you running? Himoto? I just got the Trinity P2K motor but I may give that to my 6 year old for her Traxxas buggy if that Himoto stock motor is what you say it is.

If your going to run a p2k you will want to change the pinion gear to about a 22,23t. Give it a shot though and see how it does. My buddy runs a p2k in his losi xxx-s. Runs good but my himoto steals pulls ahead in top, low, and mid's.
The ESC i got was a JR (15t limit). I got alittle over a month ago and has never been right.... it acted goofy and finally burned up. Has a 3yr but i lost the receipt. So i've ran a novak for testing and it's smooth sailing. I havent purchased my own yet but will be in the next 2 weeks. Im wanting a no limit esc since i plan on doing alot of motor changes.... i eventually want to have that car running like a bat out of hell.

well sounds to me like your break is stuck, try taking the throttle linkage off of the throttle servo, and and then put it back on so the throttle is open abot 1 or 2 mm on the carb, this should take any tension off the break if there is any, ultimitly u set the break tension with the the throttle trim on your radio... this is a start let me know if it works.
