I would imagine that the most important thing is that you build it strong, with some adjustments and a bit wider than you think you need (at >20MPH a 2 foot wide ramp is tiny).

a little tip for making the transition of the ramp is to use some sort or circular object (when iw as building a bicycle ramp, i used a slights used roll of duct tape) what you do is have it on the ground above where the beginning of the ramp is. you then take a pencil on a string and hold it to the side of the circular object, and draw up the ramp, when the line meets the end, and the max hieght you want to reach, draw it and you have a proper incline. i know that is a little hard to picture and for me to explain so i attatched a picture below.
