Default What's the difference between the XXX-4 and the XX-4?

I noticed the XXX-4 had a body that looked better than the one on the XX-4, the XX-4 also costed a little more, I was wondering what the difference was, and which one was better, I was thinking obviously the one that costed $5 more was better. But I could be wrong, besides if it's only a $5 difference than I bet it's only one part or something that's better.

Here's the link for the XXX4 straight from Losi's website: [link]http://www.teamlosi.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=LOSA0015[/link]
Here's the link for the re-released XX4 straight from Losi's website: [link]http://www.teamlosi.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=LOSA0011[/link]
These pages basically give the specs for each kit as far as driving them and the specific handling characteristics of each I haven't driven either so maybe someone else will chime in.

I saw that, does anyone have a picture of what the XX-4 looks like with the body off?

Wow, that's a lot different. Does it have a center differential?

The XX-4 is a buggy that is designed to dominate at rough tracks, where there is low traction. The only issue with the XX-4 is the drivetrain drag because the XX-4 has 3 belts (less effecient). There are conversions out there to convert to single belt (X-5 4wdrc.com). The XXX-4 is a single belt buggy that is more at home on smooth/bluegroove tracks. Both buggys use a slipper clutch, but the XX-4 has a one way "clicker" in the front to keep the binding in the drivetrain to a minimum. The XXX-4 needs a one-way installed in front (in my opinion) to make the car steer a little better and keep the binding down. Both are really good 4wd cars, but it depends on where you race and what the track surface is like.
