HPI Sprint 2: Help : Silvercan racing
I have a HPI Sprint 2
Its Stock.
I have been invited to a Silvercan race meet and know that I am gonna be up against chassis worth 3 times as much as mine..
In order to stand a chance I wont be going for the Quickest lap time.
More like consistancy.
The Regulations for the Silvercan racing are:
Must be a Johnson 540 J Silvercan
No Li-po
Car must weigh more then 1500 grams (The Sprint 2 is a Porker at 1550g)
Since it is a an indoor track, the Tyres I will be using will be ATS Foam 35's 26mm Front and Rear
I spoke to the Owner of the track and he says I need to aim for a Roll out of around 40.
So I have a Few Combo's to use
The Stock 87 Spur with 28 Pinion?
38 Pinion with 78 Spur?
32 Pinion
Thing is I have already raced a mate with a Pro 4 and he kicks my Butt..
The Sprint 2 just doesnt have the punch out of the corners and developes top end too far down the end of the straight..
