Bead lock rims
How well do bead lock rims work under racing conditions? Are there any problems with the wheels slipping out?
I have an associated T4 and want to know if anyone makes bead lock rims that will fit my truck.
Thanks!

RE: Bead lock rims
I never used them in racing so I cant give an answer from that perspective. I have the Pro-Line 40series beadlocks on an HPI Savage and even under heavy basing, they hold up excellent!
My Prolines use metal ring crompladed discs that have holes inthem to secure the tire bead to the rim; these rings will add considerably to each wheel's moment of inertia and will thus hurt acceleration. However, the heavier moment of intertia is exactly what I want for bashing and controlling the turck in mid-flight.

RE: Bead lock rims
they do make for 2.2 rims which fit the t4 and other types of st trucks, BUT from my understanding. there made for 4wd trucks only. or trucks with a hex type front. the reason it wont work with the T4 like many other stadium trucks the T4 has a axel with a bearing to hold rims. with the bead lock you need a hex set up. i have ask the same question as you.
