Help me identify this car!
First off i'd like to say that this doesn't belong to me, i'm fixing it as a favour
The plastic 2-speed gears are mashed and it requires a new engine mount screw - apart from that it appears to be in decent nick, well as decent nick of something of this quality can expected to be anyway.
The problem is that without knowing what model it is i can't get the part numbers for the replacement gears and get it running again. It's "off brand" for certain, but someone out there must know who makes it at least, and if replacement parts are actually availible. There are a few distinguishing features on it - it has P190 stamped on the chassis and radio plate, a .12 engine with an interesting logo (which resembles pacman) and the servos are stamped with GE3003. It also has the most ridiculously shaped transmitter i've ever seen, which appears to be something from an early episode of star trek. It's all in the pictures below...
Any help would really be appreciated, as i'd hate to have to return it and tell the guy that he's stuck with a paperweight!

RE: Help me identify this car!
After a little googling, I think it might be an old GS car. Check out this site if you have the patience (worst and slowest website ever, no really, they must have serious script problems, it bogs my PC in a way that only Neverwinter Nights 2 has been able in the past), it sells the radio gear and a bunch of what appear to be cheap GS and TT cars... http://aabt.co.uk/sitemap.php

RE: Help me identify this car!
I see what you mean about that website foxy, it's terrible!
Thanks for the help guys, with some googling of verbrenner, P190 etc etc i've discovered the car is a Carson P190 verbrenner (racer). It seems like they're quite common in germany, but i've never seen one over here before. So much for me thinking it was a no-name brand
Cheers

In all honesty it looks like an off brand of a Megatech Razor XT. I know a site that has replacement parts but I would have to find it. Give me a few minutes.

Fantastic, thanks! I've been searching everywhere for carson spares with no luck.
Hopefully the Megatech parts will fit perfectly as they appear identical from the photos...

RE: Help me identify this car!
to me it looks like it has some of the same parts as my Duratrax Overdrive ST. The Radio box. rear bumper and chassis setup are the same. I would look in duratrax for it
