What brand is it?
How much is it?

There are some really cheap Chinese no name brands, that advertise all kinds of specs and great features, and a lot of them are crap.
Buy a name brand car from your local hobby shop, that supports the car with parts and help. Many around here buy cars online, but if you do not know what you are doing, you have no support, as many hobby shops wont support a car you bought from someone else.

Yeah just reading the description it seems like a piece of crap, and by the spelling it looks to be some chinese crap-mobile. Spend a little more money to get a known brand and you will be much happier in the end.

Don't get into this hobby if you don't plan on spending a lot of money, bottom line. I started with a smartech, then redcat, then hobao, then VTX, and probably get a Hyper ST next. I spent $125 on my first car (pile of screws and plastic now) and another $2500 since. You will need a lot more than a car, starter and gas. The list is too long for me to even try to type it all. I love this hobby a lot, but with little to no money it will ruin it for you to have your car sitting in the corner with no batteries or a broken part you have to save up to order then wait to get. If you have about $100-$200 a month to spend on just RC stuff, try it out. If not, don't bother. My two cents[]

for that price, yes a redcat is a decent brand, its got alloy shock towers, if it performs anything like the video then i would say it a good buy. but redcat is a decent brand not great but its not bad either.

I have mainly heard people say "it is good for its 100 dollar price tag" which means it runs alright but there is some problems but they understood they bought something that was not that quailty. It might be good for you to get thou because parts are aviable and it will be cheap. So if you dont really like it there is no huge lose. Also maybe check some online retailers for the product rather then buy from ebay. They might have better prices and provide you with tech support if you need it. http://www.redcatracing.com/products.asp?type=nitro

Lol I love how in the description the seller makes every effort to make even the most basic specs sound "technical".

I would say that's a cheaper Redcat look at all the cars they have and look at the price of the shockwave compared to all the others http://redcatracing.com/products.asp?type=nitro
